Terms of Service

1. The service

HostingBrain provides market intelligence on web-hosting and domain infrastructure, delivered through an MCP connector and related interfaces ("the Service"). Access requires an access key or connected account.

2. Acceptable use

The Service is an analysis surface, not a data feed. You may use answers in your own research, memoranda and internal reports (with attribution appreciated). You may not:

systematically extract, enumerate, scrape or reconstruct the underlying dataset, in whole or in part;
resell, redistribute, sublicense or publish the data itself, or build a competing data product on it;
share access keys outside the subscribed seat, or circumvent rate limits, usage caps or tier boundaries.

We monitor usage patterns for extraction behaviour; violation is grounds for immediate suspension. Bulk data licensing exists — ask us instead of scraping.

3. Research confidentiality

Your query subjects are never visible to other customers and never sold. Query parameters are retained for operations and abuse prevention, and reduced to theme-level aggregates after 90 days. See Privacy.

4. Data quality — honest limits

Figures are analytical observations derived from public internet infrastructure, delivered with explicit denominators, confidence levels and caveats. They are floors, ceilings or estimates as labelled — not audited facts, and must not be the sole basis for investment decisions. If we materially correct a served figure, active subscribers are notified.

5. Subscriptions & termination

Paid tiers are currently invite-only; terms (price, term, renewal) are stated at invitation. Either party may terminate at term end. On non-payment, access degrades to the free tier before any cutoff. We may suspend accounts violating §2 without refund.

6. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. No liability for indirect or consequential damages, or decisions taken on the basis of the Service.

7. Governing law

The service is provided by HostingBrain ApS (under formation), Denmark; Danish law, venue Copenhagen. CVR number will be published here upon registration. Until registration completes, paid subscriptions are not offered (paid tiers are invite-only pre-launch).
